Earthship Summer Fair July 7th 2007
Families and adults came along and took part in a whole range of fun activities with a waste and energy theme, from building walls, storytelling and puppet shows to making great items to take home from waste.
The day began at 2pm with waste workshops, tours of the earthsip Fife Visitor Centre, a treasure hunt and building plastic bottle walls, where people added their own hand-painted bottle.

Thank you to everyone who helped to make it a day to remember and to raise those all important funds for SCI's fantastic work!
In the storytelling tipi with writer Judy Patterson, children contributed to an exciting new book being written this year about the future and living in an Earthship.
Younger children loved the puppet shows, all about animals and the environment, in the yurt put on by 'Puppet Lab'.
There were lots to make and do with waste, from recycled rocket and windmills to jewellery.
We had live music with something for everyone, Burntisland Pipe Pand kicked off, followed by an afternoon with 'Jammin' where everyone was free to join in and have a go on the drums!
The end of the day's activities signalled the beginning of the BBQ, owners of local takeaway 'Sofias' put on a traditional and vegetarian feast which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
In the evening the dynamic Cosmic Ceilidh Band from Edinburgh entertained and got us all dancing with their own fantastic, energetic music.
